The aim of art activities at Üsküdar American Academy is to develop students’ artistic and intellectual skills and to enable them to look at daily events with an artistic viewpoint. Our artistic activities include work in the fields of art, music and drama. Through these activities students gain theoretical knowledge and carry out many practical projects in the areas that interest them and also have the opportunity to show their work and talents during various events.

 

The Arts Club aims to teach its members the importance of the history of art and how it defines our lives, while also carrying out various creative projects. We support our club activities with visits to topical and important exhibitions and, during club time, express ourselves through individual and groups art projects. Through workshops and seminars with important figures of the art world in Turkey we help to develop students’ knowledge and experience of the arts and, students have a chance to bring their creative ideas to live through stimulating artistic projects.
