Our 11th-grade IB Economics student, Demir Alp Tuncel, achieved remarkable success by winning third place worldwide at the 8th International Economics Olympiad (IEO), held this year in Baku, Azerbaijan. He was the only student from Turkey to earn a medal at this prestigious event. 

The IEO, which aims to encourage creative problem-solving skills among high school students interested in economics, business, and finance, took place this year on a prestigious platform with hundreds of participants from 54 countries.
