We hosted the latest edition of its “Plot Twist” panel, where alumni shared how their careers took unexpected and meaningful turns.

Pelin Ekinci Kaya ’93, who studied International Relations, has become one of the prominent names in the film industry. Elif Ongun ’16, also an International Relations graduate, chose to work in the NGO sector to make a tangible impact on people’s lives. Melisa Kıran ’16 studied Chemistry, turned her passion for dance into a profession, and later transitioned into marketing. Yasemin Bilgen ’18 who was drawn to English Literature and language, found herself building a career on film sets.

Our alumni offered valuable reflections on change, exploration, and personal growth, giving students an opportunity to hear diverse perspectives on what a career path can look like.
